Mapping Our History
The PLC team has collaborated with local historians, teachers, businesses, and citizens to identify key historical landmarks within the East Tennessee area. The interactive map below takes you through some of the historical landmarks in the East Tennessee community. We arestarting with Jefferson County, the home of our Project Let’s CHAT team, and will eventually expand to the broader East Tennessee community.

Note: Our goal is to associate each of the landmarks listed on the map to a documentary style video that highlights the unique history of the landmark. We have created the following videos thus far and hope to produce many more through the generosity of our donors and business partners.
